Natural rubber is an isoprene polymer with a number average degree of polymerization about 5,000. It is produced by collecting latex by taping the epidermis of the rubber tree (HeviaBrasiliensis), which grows naturally in the high-temperature and humid tropical regions around Southeast Asia, removing impurities, and solidifying to form a sheet or bale. Depending on the drying method, it can be divided into smoked sheet (RSS#1~5), unsmoked sheet (STR, SVR, SMR, SIR), pale crepes (TPC-1X~3), and air drysheet (ADS).

    The most commonly used natural rubber in the industry, RSS includes RSS#1~5, etc., and the smaller the number, the less foreign substances.

    Unsmoked sheets are named STR (Thailand), SVR (Vietnam), SIR (Indonesia), etc. by country and technical standards, and is classified into 3, 5, 10 and 20, according to quality and characteristics.

    Pale crepe is made of thin crepe sheets by rolling stronger than RSS manufacturing processes, so they have less impurities and better quality than RSS, while the cost is higher.

    ADS is not different much from RSS until sheet is made, and there is a difference in the drying process by putting it in the hot air-drying room rather than the smoking room. Physical properties are like RSS and cost is lower than pale crepe.

    Skim Block

    The skim is obtained by centrifuging the field latex to obtain 60% of the solid content and solidifying the field latex remaining in the discarded water with acid, and the skim block is obtained by drying and processing the skim.
